What we keep

Checklamp has no accounts, no tracking cookies and no advertising. The report exists in your browser; the server does not build a history of your checks.

Data we process

  • The domain you check — used to run the check and cached briefly (minutes) so repeat checks do not hammer the target.
  • Your IP address — in short-lived web server logs, kept for abuse protection and rate limiting, not linked to a profile.
  • The report itself — rendered in your browser. It is not stored on the server and there is no account to attach it to.

What we do not do

  • No third-party analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no cross-site identifiers.
  • No selling or sharing of check history — there is no history to sell.
  • No email collection: the result is never behind a form.

Legal basis and retention

Processing is limited to what is necessary to answer your request and to keep the service from being abused. Access logs are rotated within days. Cache entries expire automatically.
